i had the same 2.1 ROM on my rooted G1…. and man is 2.0+ just freakin awesome!! woo!! im dropping my moto cliq in a hot second if the nexus is affordable! LMAO either that or moto better get 2.0 or better on this damn cliq lol

Toss the bootanimation.zip from the dumped 2.1 build into /media, change device name to “Nexus One” in build.prop, and you have “G1 Booting Nexus”. I guess I wanted to see more before getting excited, say, the new launcher, etc.
I myself tried making a quick and dirty port of 2.1, but it failed miserably, haven’t tried again.
Didn’t a guy just a few days ago post a fake that was really 1.0 w/Nexus name? Just saying it’s easy to hype over version names/numbers.

Oh really yeah this is the official boot image of it so he may have had the dump before alot of us
it was just some edits I did I wanted that boot image so I made it work on a rom I was editing.
Eugene used this in his build it was very strange.
