Quake: Source Preview

First preview of a mod me and my friend are working on. Our goal is to port Quake (shareware) to the Source engine. I’ll release another video when we get the soldier and the shotgun working.

In this tutorial, I cover the first proper development phase of any CakePHP application – The Database Scheme and normalization. This process involves the decision of applications Objects and their relationship to one another. This process is preparatory for the application prototype and basic scaffolding for testing the table relationships and data fields. In my next tutorial, I am going to create the tables with all preliminary and mapped fields. Contact me if you are interested in joining this project.
